Seed Orchard Planting

In May we planted by hand 63 Indian Sandalwood seedlings into the seed orchard. The seed orchard contains trees planted in the past two years. The trees were created by grafting the best trees harvested in the last four years. The seedlings planted this year are from seeds collected in 2019 from one particular tree in the seed orchard, which we think is showing great promise for being the foundation of future commercial plantations.
